Janae Perkins has been providing secretarial, technical, and administrative support to the Los Angeles Probation Oversight Commission (POC) since March 2021, and continues to serve as the liaison for the POC. In preparation for her current secretary position, Janae served in various administrative capacities at the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Department and the Executive Office of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from California State University, Fullerton, and has participated in various online courses to strengthen and diversify her educational and professional backgrounds. Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Janae dedicates her spare time giving back to her community, volunteering as a youth and peer mentor, and leading a national youth educational program.
Janae is a nurturing mother, committed public administrator, and steadfast community partner who makes referrals to and recommendations for community resources as appropriate.
